Healthy and Wise
School Nurse Participation
(2009-2010)
Each month, Healthy and Wise
focuses on student health issues and concerns.
The school nurse at each campus is encouraged to visit the classrooms
using the Healthy and Wise curriculum and provide additional information on the
month’s featured topics. In addition,
if the school is using the SPARK Physical Education Programs (K-2 & 3-6) as
a coordinated component with the Healthy and Wise program, the “Inclusion”
section in each binder provides school nurses and staff helpful information and
resources for teaching and supporting special needs students.
